The client has experienced extremely fast growth of a complex
product line. In addition to new products, an aggressive international
marketing campaign required localization in six languages, adding
to production and inventory concerns. Quarterly financial reports
require an audited valuation of inventory.
Additionally, the client made a corporate decision to manufacture
overseas for the European market and ROW (rest of world).
S.P.A., Inc. established a team to manage all products from
creation of artwork for printed materials to detailed on line
inventory reports. All products are barcoded for inventory control
and for Quality Assurance. Customized systems developed to ensure
accurate and timely shipments from both the domestic and Irish
facilities.
S.P.A., Inc. is responsible for analysis of extensive usage
reports which allow minimum inventory while tracking usage on
a weekly basis. Sudden upticks in usage trigger higher rates
of production, leading to minimal backorder situations.
In less than three months S.P.A.,
Inc. established a manufacturing site in Dublin, Ireland capable
of duplicating all services provided in the US facility. Manufacturing
overseas resulted in millions of dollars saved in taxes for
the client and quicker response to end user needs. |
